Well.....it's upon us! I can't believe in 24 hours I will be on a plane, probably right above the North Pole :), headed toward Bangkok. My bags are packed....and the final verdict is: one 70L pack weighing just under 40 lbs and my daypack that is only about half full! I am quite proud of myself...although I will probably rearrange in the morning knowing me. At some point I'll post pics of all that is stuffed into my bag....it's pretty amazing that I am going to live out of that small pack for 6 months...that thing better not get lost!
Thanks to everyone for being so supportive of and excited for me, especially the past week or so- it's much appreciated!!!
