(For those of you that don't remember my Swahili language lessons, Nimeondoka = Awwww, man!)
As this trip is starting to wrap up and I try to grasp all that I have experienced over the past five and a half months, my mind is flooded with random stories, lists, people, and places which are the pieces of my memory that will forever swirl around in my brain as I remember this amazing trip.
Albeit an impossible task, I want to try and summarize my time with a "Post a Day" series beginning Monday, a week before we are stateside once again. Maybe I'll write about the strangest experiences we've had, maybe the best, maybe I'll bombard you with some of the insane and weird lists I have been keeping along the way (just how many hostels have we stayed in?? and how many local beers have passed our lips??), I'm not entirely sure yet. But keep your eyes peeled starting Monday for many blog posts (counting on some solid internet here) as we spend our final days in Iceland and then land in Chicago the evening of the 23rd.
